Jay-R

Gaudencio Sillona III, known to audiences as Jay R, entered the world on February 1, 1981. A singer and songwriter of Filipino-American heritage, he launched his recording career in 2003 with the album *Gameface*, issued through Universal Records. The record achieved platinum status from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), a milestone fueled in part by the popularity of its single "Bakit Pa Ba."
