Qin Xiaoxian is a performer rooted in the rich tradition of Chinese cross-talk, known professionally as xiangsheng. His formal training began at the Beijing Xiqu Vocational Institute of Arts, where he earned his degree in June 2011. For years, he honed his craft behind the microphone as a host for De Yun She, the renowned comedy troupe led by Guo Degang. This steady, behind-the-scenes experience sharpened his timing and stage presence, preparing him for a more prominent role in the art form.

His dedication paid off on December 31, 2019, when he was officially accepted as a disciple of Guo Degang, a pivotal milestone in his career. This formal recognition not only cemented his place within the De Yun She family but also linked him to one of the most influential figures in modern xiangsheng.
