Grace Pine, a 22-year-old music journalist, relocates to Montreal with the goal of writing a book about Alanis Morissette's *Jagged Little Pill*. Her focus gets derailed, however, when she starts covering a local indie band and finds herself entangled with two of its members. To complicate matters further, she decides to step in as their publicist, blurring the lines between professional duty and personal desire.
