In the Upworld, Val begins a relationship with a new guy named Steve, but Jay quickly finds himself disliking him. At the same time, in the Downworld, Macro issues a command to halt the distribution of "The Fax," a newsletter created by Alpha, and orders the elimination of the Bladers who are spreading it.
