1998-01-08

Title: The Anastasia Mystery Plot: Following the execution of Nicholas II, Alexandra, and their children by Bolshevik forces in Ekaterinberg at the close of World War I, rumors circulated that not all the royal children had perished. Specifically, it was believed that one daughter, Anastasia, had escaped death. In the mid-1920s, a woman named Anna Anderson was discovered in a German canal, suffering from memory loss. She claimed to be the lost princess, capturing public interest with her accounts of life in the Russian palace. It wasn't until after her passing and subsequent DNA testing that the true story was finally revealed.
