Without the moon, our planet would be drastically transformed—experiencing only four hours of daylight, enveloped in darkness at night, and subjected to relentless 100-mph winds that create massive hurricanes lasting for months. The absence of the moon would mean a near-total lack of complex life forms, including humans. It's fair to say that our very survival is closely tied to the moon's presence.
