To gain an advantage, Section One abducts Karl, erasing his recent memories, and pairs him with Nikita, who poses as his fiancée to extract information about Simon. As Nikita delves deeper into Karl's dark past, she finds herself inexplicably attracted to him, developing feelings that complicate her mission. However, her growing awareness of Section's manipulation over her mind jeopardizes the entire operation.
