Heartbroken over his girlfriend Ellen's departure to Paris for a dance scholarship, Alex frantically searches for someone to fill her shoes, only to come to the bittersweet conclusion that moving on will require patience. As he wallows in sadness at the Keaton residence, he encounters Sharon, a charming waitress who piques his interest. However, during their date, Alex's attempts to mold her into a replica of Ellen lead to awkward and unfortunate moments, highlighting his struggle to let go of the past.
