Between December 23, 1976, and February 12, 1977, seven young women mysteriously vanished. James William Miller admitted to aiding his lover, Christopher Robin Worrell, in disposing of the corpses of these women, whom Worrell had brutally assaulted and killed while Miller waited close by.
