S02E08 Deadly Ambition
When a security guard is gunned down while attempting to thwart a diamond heist, a relentless detective sets out to prove that the guard accepted a bribe from the criminals, aiming to pin the blame on him. However, the guard is a longtime friend of Hooker's, who is confident in his friend's innocence. As Hooker and Romano dig deeper into the case, they uncover the detective's willingness to resort to blackmail to secure his own glory and quickly ascend the ranks for his arrests.
