As Corrigan chases down a duo of robbers known for violently assaulting anyone who gets in their way, he manages to pull an unconscious Stacy from their patrol car just before it crashes and bursts into flames. The search for the dangerous criminals intensifies, and the harrowing experience bonds Stacy and Corrigan more deeply than before, complicating their professional dynamic.
