S07E01 A New Chance

Derrick heads to Kentucky to assist Chance, a three-legged therapy dog serving young patients at Shriners Hospital for Children. Given Chance's large size, his joints have begun to deteriorate over time. Derrick must draw on every bit of his expertise to help Chance stay in peak condition and continue his important work for years to come.
