As Rachel goes into labor and Maryann suffers an appendicitis attack simultaneously, Cybill faces a challenging day as she juggles care for both women. She calms a frantic Rachel, insisting that welcoming a second child is easy. Meanwhile, she must soothe Maryann, who is under the influence of pain medication and believes her imaginary dinner party is going fabulously well. Cybill’s efforts to manage the chaos leave her feeling stretched to her limits.
