Meanwhile, Rick travels to New York to confess to Grace that he’s about to marry someone else but would reconsider if she still has feelings for him. Libby encounters an appealing fellow contestant and expresses her desire for him to win, prompting Grace to voice her disappointment over Libby prioritizing a boy over competition. Ultimately, Grace admits to Rick that she still harbors love for him, but their connection isn't strong enough for a future together, leading to a bittersweet farewell.
