When David finds himself unable to retrieve his lottery winnings, he enlists a friend to pick up the cash on his behalf. However, this friend, a reformed con artist, takes matters into his own hands and, without David's approval, concocts a plan to invest the money in a risky scheme aiming for a bigger payout.
