Noel Fitzpatrick works to salvage a tortoiseshell cat’s leg by excising a tumor and fitting a specialized bionic implant in place of its knee. Meanwhile, Staffordshire bull terrier Rosie is rushed in after her back legs give out unexpectedly while at the park. Noel undertakes critical spinal surgery to address the damaged discs in Rosie's spine and recommends a rigorous physiotherapy program for her recovery.
