Barney, a four-year-old pug and beagle mix, arrives at Fitzpatrick Referrals after being struck by a bus, resulting in significant damage to his leg with a 40 percent loss of bone. Noel devises a creative two-tier treatment plan that includes an external frame for support. Meanwhile, sisters Rosemary and Diane bring in their five-year-old basset hound, Albert, who has unexpectedly lost the ability to use his back legs. Additionally, 10-month-old Labrador cross Gylly comes in for treatment due to lameness and a rare bone deformity.
