On February 1, 1985, a serial killer is on the loose in San Francisco. Sam, assuming the identity of TV reporter Dillion Powell, takes it upon himself to safeguard a stunning psychic involved in the investigation, determined to prevent her from becoming the killer's next target. As Sam and Al delve deeper into the case, they soon realize just how perceptive the young woman truly is.
