S06E01 The Beginning
Title: The Start of Something New Plot: Mulder is disheartened when the Office of Professional Conduct denies his and Scully's request to return to The X-Files, and his frustration grows upon discovering that Agent Spender and Agent Fowley have taken their place. When Gibson Praise resurfaces seeking their assistance, Mulder and Scully resolve to pursue their investigation covertly, even though they find themselves increasingly isolated, with limited resources and support.
