Fast forward to the present, and Ray is enlisted by movie star Natalie James to safeguard her from her abusive husband and manager, pulling him further into the dangerous world of Sam Winslow. Meanwhile, at Terry and Maureen's wedding, the atmosphere shifts as tensions rise between the Donovans and the Dohertys, ruining what was meant to be a joyous occasion.
