Dr. Chauncey Everett, a naturalist, has chosen to live in seclusion for the past ten years. But everything changes when Amy, a spirited and outgoing survivor, deliberately ventures into the forbidden territory. This encounter forces Dr. Everett to confront his own sense of humanity and what it means to connect with others in a desolate landscape.
