As several patients at the hospital start exhibiting concerningly similar symptoms, Sharpe and Bloom race against time to uncover the underlying cause. Iggy works to mediate a tense situation between a divorced couple in crisis, while Kapoor finds himself in the midst of a playful romantic exchange. Simultaneously, Max encounters a young boy suffering from a rare muscular condition and fights to secure a spot for him in the only clinical trial available nationwide that could potentially prolong his life.
