Reese’s latest girlfriend, Beth, matches his level of intelligence perfectly. At first, Malcolm isn’t fond of her, but as time passes, he starts to warm up to her, developing an unexpected bond. However, Beth ultimately decides to end things with Reese. Heartbroken, Reese decides to escape his feelings and enlist in the army, adopting a fake surname in the process.
