After Val Massey gets into a car crash, she discovers that the other driver is a felon who takes advantage of the situation to escape from law enforcement. Concerned about her well-being, Dangerfield goes to check on Val, only to find her home under siege, with both her and Dangerfield confronted by an armed intruder.
