S01E01 The Tale of the Frog Prince

In this enchanting retelling featuring Robin Williams and Terri Garr, a furious godmother curses a newborn prince into a frog after being snubbed from his christening. Years later, a vain princess accidentally drops her cherished ball into a well. The frog rescues it, demanding a stay at the castle in return, where he insists on dining and sleeping alongside her. Initially dismissive, the princess is compelled by her father, King Rene` Auberjonois, to honor the agreement. After a fierce showdown with a scorpion, she finally kisses the frog, and with a magical transformation, he becomes a prince once more.
