Friday and Smith take on a case after a wealthy college student's body is discovered in MacArthur Park. Initially suspecting a botched drug deal, they dig deeper and uncover a series of clues that lead them to realize the situation is far more complex and unrelated to drugs. As they sift through the evidence, the true circumstances surrounding the young man's death begin to emerge, challenging their initial assumptions.
