While recuperating from an injury in the hospital, Angie, in a drug-induced haze, overhears a chilling threat directed at someone nearby. When she tries to alert the staff about what she heard, they dismiss her claims, believing her to be delusional. Undeterred, Angie becomes determined to uncover the truth and protect the potential victim, even as her own credibility hangs in the balance.
