David is thrilled about his new position at the trust, but his excitement is short-lived when he discovers that Sarah has moved out to live in a bedsit with Phil. He rushes to convince her to keep his affair from Alison. Meanwhile, McGuire, a journalist from the area, manages to enter the Jane Crowther building to confront Alison, Pauline, Marion, and Virginia.
