Billy Poe finds himself wrongfully charged with murder after a dying man's accusations. In a desperate bid for freedom, he escapes to a neighboring town. Meanwhile, Matt, determined to bring him to justice, tracks him down but faces fierce opposition from locals who harbor deep resentment towards law enforcement.
