Homer takes on the role of coach for a youth football team and decides to swap out the talented quarterback Nelson for the less skilled Bart. As Bart deals with the mockery from his teammates, he searches for an escape from the situation. Ultimately, he discovers a more positive way to demonstrate his dedication to the team.
