John Denver, the iconic singer-songwriter, rose to fame with his unforgettable hits like “Country Roads,” “Rocky Mountain High,” and “Annie’s Song,” making him one of the best-selling artists in America by the mid-70s. With around 200 songs to his name and over 35 million albums sold, his legacy is immense. However, on October 12, 1997, tragedy struck when the experienced pilot crashed his aircraft into the Pacific Ocean. The circumstances surrounding the accident sparked numerous theories, and the investigation faced challenges, with only remnants of the plane and parts of Denver's body retrieved. Now, esteemed forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter is revisiting the case of Denver's untimely demise.
