Markowitz finds himself reluctantly representing a journalist facing a libel lawsuit from a former nuclear physicist accused of performing unethical radiation experiments on unsuspecting individuals in the 1950s. Concurrently, Kelsey is engrossed in a divorce case involving a woman and her husband, an ardent Grateful Dead enthusiast. Meanwhile, Becker's professional life takes a turn as he becomes entangled with D.A. Belinda Fox, who is resolutely pursuing charges against his client for pandering.
