In a historic moment for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hartmann’s mountain zebras make their debut on the savanna! Keeper Meaghan and her team work diligently to help the playful herd adjust and prepare the other animals for the arrival of their new neighbors, including a young zebra named Clementine and her expectant mother, Prima. Meanwhile, the park introduces babirusa pig Betty to a bachelor named Mentari, hoping the two will connect and produce the first-ever babirusa piglet. Over at The Seas with Nemo & Friends in EPCOT, keepers face a challenge with Lou, an 1,800-pound rescued manatee, whose potentially infected tail requires a crane lift for transport to the Veterinary Treatment Room for a detailed CT scan.
