Kevin discovers Roger busy preparing land for a vital parking lot at the job site. Architect Jeremiah Eck presents Norm and Kevin with a 3-D visualization of his innovative design. Key features include transforming the existing timberframe barn into a "living hall," an updated layout that merges the kitchen and dining area in a new connecting ell, and a spacious master suite addition. Tom brings in a specialized barn jacking team to elevate the 65-ton structure by two feet, allowing his crew to fix the foundation and replace the first-floor deck. Meanwhile, demolition experts arrive to take down the deteriorating ell, which will be reconstructed with structural insulated panels.
