This Old House
S37E06 Belmont Victorian: Opening the Entry
Kevin connects with mason Mark McCullough, who begins laying the foundation blocks for the mudroom. Meanwhile, Tommy constructs a bespoke bay window for the kitchen. Norm stops by the shop to check on the restoration of the original windows. Tommy demonstrates his technique of using a Dutchman's patch to fill the gaps left by removed electrical outlets in the baseboards. Later, Kevin meets homeowners Katherine and Murat at the Boston Design Center, where they introduce their interior designer Amanda Reid, who shares her vision for the formal living room. Kevin then finds Tommy installing another beam to enhance the front entryway.
