S02E01 At the River

The second season kicks off with the team confronted by the shocking murder of a respected officer, who may have ties to a white supremacist organization. This tragedy resonates deeply with Dwight, who connects with the officer's grieving son. In the midst of the investigation, he meets Claire Ryan (guest star Beau Garrett from TRON: Legacy), a determined investigator from Internal Affairs. Simultaneously, Rice pressures Whitehead to take the lieutenant's exam, but her motivations for pushing him to succeed are less than supportive.
