S01E07 The Disappearance of Maureen Hale

In June 1999, Maureen Hale mysteriously disappeared, leaving her husband and children in turmoil. Authorities quickly turned their suspicions towards her wealthy husband, Martin, especially after Maureen sought a divorce. The case against him grew stronger when investigators uncovered evidence, including a disturbing note in his briefcase detailing methods to dispose of a body and a large financial offer he made to a friend for hiring an incinerator. Despite these incriminating findings, Martin was acquitted in court, and Maureen's fate remains unknown to this day.
