During the trial of a murder case, things take a turn when defense lawyer Linda Rothman successfully undermines the credibility of Detective Amy Sykes while she’s testifying. Compounding the tension, Amy’s former rival, Mark Hickman, steps in as a defense investigator, providing support to Rothman and complicating matters further for Sykes.
