Mathias is feeling the heat as his wife Meg arrives in Aberystwyth, complicating his already tense situation with the IPCC probing into Mari Davies' death from the previous episode. Just when he needs a distraction, a bus driver is discovered murdered on a remote mountainside, leading to a new investigation that offers him a much-needed reprieve from his personal troubles.
