Later, at the Furude Shrine, he finds Rika's body brutally disemboweled. Satoko, convinced that Keiichi is the killer, runs away in terror. Despite his desperate attempts to prove his innocence, she refuses to believe him—and then catastrophe engulfs Hinamizawa.
