Matt comes back to Glenoak to commemorate a significant anniversary with Ruthie, making a concerted effort to steer clear of the rest of the family. However, when Lucy uncovers the truth behind his visit, she, along with Eric and Annie, goes into a frenzy trying to uncover his reasons for being in town. Meanwhile, Martin reveals a meaningful moment to Cecilia. In a slip of the tongue, Annie inadvertently informs Nurse Kelly about Matt and Sarah's marriage. Lastly, Vic extends an invitation to Paris for a memorable evening, but she hesitates, fearing a marriage proposal might be on the horizon.
