Simon approaches Matt for a prescription of birth control for his girlfriend, inadvertently sparking a rumor in the household that she is expecting. Meanwhile, Lucy and Kevin grapple with the choice of selling their newly acquired home back to its former owners. Additionally, Eric and Annie express their frustration over Kevin's decision to keep a firearm in the house for safety. In the midst of these dilemmas, the Camden siblings strive to conceal a significant secret regarding Mary (Jessica Biel, who does not appear in this episode) from their parents.
