Julie travels to Baltimore to represent a man charged with the murder of a newspaper editor who tarnished his reputation. With Conrad tied up with a different case, Matlock arrives to assist her. He steps in when the prosecutor, who coincidentally is her ex-husband, tries to sabotage Julie’s efforts at every turn. Together, they navigate the challenges posed by the prosecution to uncover the truth.
