BMW ventures into the compact hatchback segment with the debut of their 1 Series. James takes it for a spin and questions the necessity of its existence. Meanwhile, James and Jeremy sample various Asian vehicles, finding them all lacking, before Jeremy takes on the Ariel Atom. The Mercedes G-Class receives the AMG upgrade, allowing Richard the chance to experience its power. In an unexpected showdown, Jeremy races a Fiesta ST against Richard in a Citroën C2 VTS. Trinny Woodhall and Susannah Constantine join as guests in the Reasonably Priced Car segment.
