S01E02 Arabian Frights

Upon arriving in Egypt, Palin struggles to secure a train to Cairo. Once he reaches the bustling city, he enjoys a local soccer match and makes a brief appearance in an Egyptian film. After marveling at the Pyramids in Giza and taking a ride on a camel named after him, he encounters a setback when the ship he planned to take faces engine troubles and is unable to depart. Although he manages to catch a ferry from Suez, he misses an essential connection to Muscat. In a last-ditch effort to salvage his adventure, he gets the rare chance to drive through Saudi Arabia to Dubai.
