J. Paul Getty amassed a fortune in the oil business, earning the title of the 'richest man in the world.' However, his prosperity took a dark turn when his grandson was abducted. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of $17 million, a sum Getty could easily generate in a single day. Yet, the question lingered: would he choose to pay the ransom for his grandson's safe return?
