After several unsuccessful attempts to open the seed box, Sue and Paul come to the conclusion that they need Marcus’s assistance. Sue devises a scheme to free Marcus from the brig while Mother is preoccupied with Tempest’s impending childbirth. However, when Sue, Paul, and Marcus manage to finally unlock the seed box, they uncover a shocking revelation.
