Julian rushes to attend to a heifer in distress, suffering from a painful infection due to an object lodged in her swollen foot. At the same time, Peter is busy extracting a large tumor from Holly, the golden retriever's head. Meanwhile, beloved clients of Skeldale, farmers Steve and Jeanie, are worried about their cat Spitfire, who hasn't been displaying his usual spirited behavior.
