The scene returns to Hashfield Depot, where Keith is grappling with severe budget cuts stemming from a worldwide financial crisis. He faces significant staff losses across nearly all departments. Melissa finds herself reassigned to the phone room, while Murray resumes his role as HR Manager, and Abdul's cousin, Habib, joins as an additional driver. Under directives from Head Office, Keith mandates everyone to re-interview for their positions. Unbeknownst to him, the interviewer Amanda has sent is actually a spy, plotting to establish her own depot with outsourced labor. Meanwhile, Mario experiences a theft from his van and frantically pursues the thief around the city, fearing for his job.
