However, Kitty is secretly organizing a surprise party, disregarding his feelings, and even brings his sister Laurie home from college for the occasion. In a bid to cancel the festivities, Eric turns to Laurie for assistance while Kelso, oblivious to the situation, attempts to win Laurie's attention. Meanwhile, Donna grapples with uncertainty in her relationship with Eric and seeks Jackie’s guidance on the perfect birthday gift for him.
